What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Bonu' Taverna Italiana?
Bonu' Taverna Italiana in Saint Petersburg, FL is looking for one bartender to join our 35 person strong team. We are located on 601 Central Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a craft cocktail bartender for 5 years
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Experience in craft cocktails and fine wines
- Experience in wine presentation and curating unique cocktail menus that attract and appeal to guests
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $11.00 - $12.00/hour.
