Job Description

Responsible for developing, growing, monitoring, and maintaining a loan and deposit portfolio. Interviews applicants for all commercial loans, including but not limited to commercial & industrial, real estate construction and term loans, and working capital lines of credit. Submits loan request to credit administration with approval, structure, and pricing recommendations. Informs prospective borrower of loan commitment, assists in providing necessary documentation to Loan Administration, and facilitates the loan closing. Calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business and / or increase or retain existing business. Has no lending authority. Has some overdraft authority.

Job Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent
Good interpersonal communication and computer skills
In good standing with NMLS.

Specific Job Functions :

Maintain an acceptable level of growth in his / her loan and deposit portfolio.

Maintain an acceptable level of past dues, charge offs, financial and collateral exceptions, and financial statement and tax return tracking exceptions.

Act as the primary contact for the financial institution’s business customers.

Represents the bank through memberships and participation in community events and organizations.

Employ personal communication and sales skills while meeting with prospective business / corporate clients.

Meet with corporate clients, listen to their needs and goals and propose recommendations on how they can meet these goals.

Maintain consistent communication with clients through outbound calls and personal onsite visits.

Assist clients with services and products such as loans, cash management, bank accounts and others.

Monitor clients’ finances regularly and maintain updated paperwork or account records.

Develop strong professional relationships with members of the bank’s other departments, as well as external representatives.

Assist with other functions of the bank such as supporting senior bankers in their duties or performing additional customer service roles.

Comply with all relevant State and Federal regulations.

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
