What are the responsibilities and job description for the 4th Grade position at Booker ISD?
4th Grade with possible ELAR and/or Social Studies
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree and elementary certification required
•Must have valid Texas Teaching Certification
•ESL certification preferred or willingness to become certified within the first year
•Desire to grow professionally
•Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Follow and use Booker ISD’s curriculum
•Plan/collaborate/work closely with members of grade level team and participate in a Professional Learning Community
•Design student learning with balanced literacy and balanced math
•Provide research based interventions for at-risk/struggling learners
•Other duties as assigned
