Our client is a well-established and growing food distribution company with dozens of locations. They're seeking a VP Sales with bakery industry experience to add to their existing team. Here's a bit about the role, and then more about the company towards the bottom.
VP Sales / Account Management – Downey :
- Must have experience in the bakery industry
- Must have experience managing a national book of business and have current contacts in the industry
- This is a player / coach role and this person will be required to be hands on at all levels
- Must be able to identify and drive in new business
- Will recommend and implement improvements in sales methods and procedures
- Will mentor and train the existing staff around them
- Will be expected to travel ~ 50%
- Excellent communication skills are required
- Salary likely between $170-200K 30% bonus, car allowance, benefits, pto
