Shop Foreman

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Foreman to oversee our operations and ensure that all vehicles and equipment are repaired,performs services on small engines,diesel/gas engines to the highest standards.Familiar with electrical materials and names with great organizational skills.Familiar with operating construction equipment and loading/unloading of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and construction equipment with great organzational skills. As a Shop Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in performing annual services on equipment for company and customers equipment. Familiar with compliance with OSHA standards.

Duties

• Perform daily operations in the shop, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
• Manage Shop/Job Inventory.
• Delivery of shop materials,tools equipment to job sites.
• Manage material budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to promote a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with project managers and owner to align on project timelines and deliverables.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices in construction techniques and safety protocols.
• Multi-skilled tradesman
• Facilitate communication between team members, owner and clients regarding project progress.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Shop Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction and mechanic industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Proficiency in reading instructions,bill of materials and receipts.
• Familiarity with diesel and gas engines.
• Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage projects.
• Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills.
• Detail orientated with intelliengent financial solutions.
• Welding of Metals.(Certification not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
