What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift/Stocking 3rd shift position at Books A Million Holding Company?
The Inbound associate reports directly to the Inbound Manager .
The Inbound associate performs all stocking / receiving functions including but not limited to : Scanning, counting, unloading trucks stacking items onto carts / shelves, in a fast and accurate manner. The Inbound associate demonstrates behavior that supports AWBC core values. 1st shift is Monday -Friday 7-3 : 30. Overtime during the busy seasons Sept - Dec.
3rd shift - Sunday - Thursday 8pm - 4 : 30am
Roles and Responsibilities
Certification to operator a forklift and pallet jack.
- Stacks product on shelves.
- Receive product using an RF scanner.
- Counts product to be stocked.
- Key's product into system using an RF scanner.
- Moves product from staging areas to stocking locations.
- Responsible for following all safety rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
