What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Manager position at BOOKS & BREWS?
Books & Brews in Indianapolis, IN is looking for one day manager to join our team. We are located on 9402 Uptown Dr #1400. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged.
Pay based on experience. This is a part-time position. Hours can range from 10-20 hours per week based on need.
Responsibilities

*Provides exceptional customer service to all Taproom Patrons *Trains new staff following the Training Checklist *Maintains a positive and friendly work environment for all Taproom employees *Oversees completion daily opening and closing checklists *Monitors inventory and orders all necessary Taproom and kitchen supplies/food in a timely manner *Works with the Distributor to update and manage beer inventory at the Taproom *Works with the General Manager to estimate food consumption, place orders with suppliers, and schedule delivery of fresh food and beverages *Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the bar and storage areas *Sets and maintain standards for food presentation from the kitchen
Qualifications

*Experience is not required, but the following is preferred: *Knowledge and passion for craft beer and the brewing industry *Purchasing, inventory controls, marketing, and budgetary controls *Knowledge and experience with restaurant POS Systems *Skills and experience in verbal communication and customer focus *Excellent customer service, interpersonal and proven leadership skills
