Job Title: HIV/HCV Tester

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating individuals with various needs, particularly those with disabilities.

This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, addiction counseling, and social work principles. The Tester will play a crucial role in educating clients and collecting data to support their health and well-being.

Duties

• Conduct assessments to evaluate the needs of individuals with disabilities.
• Educate clients on available resources and support systems.
• Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Provide addiction counseling and support for individuals seeking recovery.
• Collaborate with nurses and social workers to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Collect and analyze data related to client progress and outcomes.
• Employ motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement in their treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and client interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and its application in a clinical setting.
• Background in addiction counseling or related fields is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with social work practices and Medicare regulations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate clients.
• Ability to perform data collection and analysis to inform care strategies.
• A compassionate approach with a commitment to supporting individuals in need of assistance.
