Boomerangs is seeking to add a experienced, seasoned and fast-paced bartender to add to the team at Boomerangs. We operate as a normal casual bar restaurant during the day and dinner time, at night on the weekends we have live bands and are quite busy.

Must be reliable, tips certified, proficient and able to learn our computer system, honest.

Great earning opportunity for the right person. Looking to start as part-time on weekends, with full time potentially available after we get to know each other.

Full weekend availability is a must, earn full-time money in a few days!

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries or requests.
• Assist with food service as needed, including serving appetizers or coordinating with kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving drinks in accordance with local laws.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink orders accurately.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS is a plus.
• Knowledge of various drink recipes and cocktail preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
• Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.
