POSITION OVERVIEW
The Arcade Attendant is responsible for guest service, cleanliness, safety, and uptime of the arcade and arcade games.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment. Continually promote safety with the team.
- Provides quality and friendly assistance to guests as needed.
- Attempts to resolve minor game malfunctions within scope of training.
- Assists in preventative maintenance of games as trained.
- Maintains par levels within games that are needed, ie: pushers, ball games, & prizes
- Updates items used to maintain par levels on tokens, game cards, balls etc.
- Communicates game issues and occurrences to MOD and Arcade Technician.
- Records any game wins of merchandiser prizes and updates records accordingly.
- Maintains acceptable level of cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Stay on task with minimal supervision.
- Performs opening and closing procedures in assigned areas.
- Performs other duties as required.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 16 years of age or older and have reliable transportation.
- At least one year experience supporting and maintaining arcade games or show relative technical skillset.
- Ability to take direction and training from management and arcade technicians.
- Ability to effectively communicate with Guests, other Team Members, and Management. Bilingual is a plus.
- Organizational skills at keeping, detailed records and report logs.
- Ability to retain information and make decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask with effective follow through.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Some High School education (minors) or High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical education in the fields of computers, electrical, or mechanical is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to have full dexterity and grip small items, stoop, bend, squat, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Ability to push or pull heavy objects on wheels up to 500 pounds.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to walk and stand constantly to cover assigned locations as needed.
- Ability to perform duties in a noisy environment.
- Able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
