Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Shift Leads oversee the day-to-day operations of park attractions and guest services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Model and educate Team Members on Boomers Core Values.
- Ensure adequate daily staffing levels and adherence to daily operational schedule.
- Manage shift schedule ensuring breaks and meal periods are provided in a timely manner in accordance with State and local labor laws.
- Ensure attractions are operated following standard operating procedures and always maintaining safe practices.
- Train and develop Team Members ensuring safety is a priority.
- Assist with resolving Guest issues; make sure Team Members are courteous and paying attention to Guests.
- Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 16 years of age or older and have reliable transportation.
- Experience in the guest service industry, with demonstrated ability to ensure customer satisfaction and handle guest concerns is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate and count, read, and comprehend.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with effective follow-through. Demonstrated ability to see, hear, talk clearly, and write legibly. Bilingual is a plus. Ability to represent the best face of the organization to the public.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, grip small objects and push or pull heavy objects.
- Must be able to work in an environment with high levels of noise and vibration.
- Must be able to work outdoors, and may be required to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
