Job Responsibilities
- Banquet Host / Hostess will play a visible role in exceeding our guest’s expectation though design, delivery and guest service
- Preparing banquet room for the event
- Set up, maintain and replenish multiple buffet lines
- Serving guests, and post event clean up
- Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated
- Anticipate guest's needs. Be alert of guest signals and acknowledge the guest
- Remove dishes and glasses from tables and take to kitchen for cleaning
- Perform all applicable opening, mid-day or closing preparation, cleaning and maintenance duties according to the requirements of the shift worked
- Help guest with any and all birthday party needs. Duties include : making the birthday child feel special, taking orders and up-selling, serving food and drinks, singing happy birthday, serving birthday cake, busing, issuing fun cards and wristbands, gift list, closing party tab, help guest with gifts and leftover food to car
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Seats guests and manage the seating chart
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
