What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at Boondox Bar and Grille?
Bar / Restaurant located in OTSEGO, MN.
We are looking for enthusiastic bartenders / servers to provide an excellent guest dining experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' needs and expectations.
All of our bartenders also serve.
Compensation includes minimum wage plus tips.
401(k) available to full-time employees.
*Must have weekend availability*
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers and take orders
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar and food menu
- Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory, supplies and perform any necessary side work
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender / server
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar and restaurant organized, stocked and clean
- Ability to move and change out kegs
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Must be a team player - always willing to help out your coworkers
