Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Parts Manager to oversee our parts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and sales. Duties
- Manage the parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their parts needs and inquiries.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales trends and optimize inventory management.
- Oversee the ordering process for parts and supplies, maintaining relationships with suppliers.
- Implement and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking parts usage and inventory.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure timely availability of necessary parts for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Train and supervise staff in best practices for parts management and customer interaction.
- Market promotional events or special offers to enhance sales within the department.
- Maintain an organized workspace that complies with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales and customer service, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive repair processes is essential.
- Familiarity with POS software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of retail math principles to effectively manage inventory.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
