Duties
- Manage the sourcing and procurement of automotive parts, ensuring timely availability for repairs and services.
- Utilize order management systems to track inventory levels and process orders efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with inquiries regarding parts availability, specifications, and compatibility.
- Maintain organized records of parts inventory, including documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Collaborate with the automotive repair team to understand their needs and ensure that the correct parts are ordered.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
- Assist in the training of new staff on parts management systems and procedures.
Skills
- Proficient understanding of OEM parts and their application in automotive repair.
- Experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management and logistics.
- Strong sourcing skills to identify reliable suppliers for automotive components.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
