Responsibilities

- Assist with heavy lifting of patients and equipment as necessary.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and other healthcare professionals during patient transport.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform treatment decisions.
- Document patient information and care provided accurately and promptly.
- Ensure all medical equipment is maintained and ready for use, including durable medical equipment (DME).
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with EMT practices.
Requirements
- Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is required.
- Experience in urgent care or hospital settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Proficiency in medication administration and experience administering injections.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress environments.
