About Boone County Cake Co.
We are a small, woman-owned bakery in Lebanon, Indiana dedicated to creating delicious and beautiful cakes and desserts in a friendly, welcoming environment. We are excited to grow our team and are looking for part-time help to meet demand and expand our offerings.
Baker Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, and other baked goods
- Prepare and make fillings, icings, toppings, etc.
- Fill, stack and decorate single-tier and multi-tiered cakes
- Keep kitchen clean, organized and wash dishes
- Keep bakery stocked
- Complete opening duties such as making coffee, putting out baked goods, etc.
- Complete closing duties such as sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, wiping down surfaces and baking equipment, and other general cleaning tasks
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Self-motivated and strong problem-solving skills
- Highly disciplined and process-oriented
- Able to work well with others
- Positive and friendly disposition
- High level of attention to detail
- Able to hold oneself to a high standard ethics and accountability
- Willing to sign a NDA
- Age 21
Preferred Baker Qualifications/Skills:
- Commercial kitchen experience
- Cake decorating experience preferred but not required
- Pastry experience preferred but not required
Shift Schedule:
- Flexible schedule during the week but must have Saturday morning (8am-10am) availability
- Tuesday - Friday
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 26 per week
