If you are an RN looking for a team-oriented work environment where staff enjoy what they are doing and the people around them, please join our team. The Family Birth Center provides care from antenatal assessment, through labor and delivery, and postpartum care to discharge home. Our nursery provides care to infants from 35 weeks gestation and up. We have the support of 9 family practitioners that provide excellent care to our patients and 24 hour OR and anesthesia coverage. We provide extensive orientation to nurses new to obstetrics with required training and certifications included in the orientation process.

Position Description: Registered Nurse (RN)
Status: Part-time 24 hours per week
Shift: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with rotating weekend schedule
Salary: $29.70 - $39.45 per hour depending on experience. Shift differential premiums paid**

Education/Qualifications Required: Valid Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) License. BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, fetal monitoring, caring, customer focused, team player, willing to work hard, motivated to continue to learn and change, able to multitask.
Experience: Perinatal nursing experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Typical Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to move about the facility in the care of patients and moving of equipment. Must be able to bend to the floor and reach overhead, balance, climb, lift, push, pull, walk, stand and crouch, twist and turn while obtaining supplies and equipment or in assisting patient cares involving walking, bathing, or positioning. Verbal and auditory acuity sufficient for over the telephone reporting of patient condition reports, hearing patients' verbal requests, auditory assessment of patients with a stethoscope, and auditory equipment alarms is necessary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
