Status: PRN

Shift Time Schedule: All shifts start at 7:00 a.m. and end at 7:00 a.m. the next day. PRN as needed.

Days: Variable Days

Salary Range:

Paramedic: $23.00-$30.80

AEMT: $17.01-$23.57

EMT: $15.74-$20.78

Administers first aid treatment to and transports sick or injured persons to medical facility, working as a member of emergency medical team. Provides: pre-hospital EMS, interfacility ALS care and transport, clinical assistance to patient care departments within hospital.
Qualifications: State of Iowa Certified Paramedic, AEMT, or EMT Work experience: Preferred, not required. Education/Certifications/Licenses: -Current Iowa EMS certification -Current Chauffeur's license -Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Typical work involves working pre-hospital in multiple settings, from mild to extreme conditions.

Vision must be correctable to view computer screens and read printed information. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
