Status: PRN
Shift: 24 Hour Shifts
Shift Time Schedule: 7:00 am – 7:00 am
Days: Variable, as needed.
Salary Scale: $23.00-$30.80 Position Summary: Administers first aid treatment to and transports sick or injured persons to medical facility, working as a member of emergency medical team. Provides: pre-hospital EMS, interfacility ALS care and transport, clinical assistance to patient care departments within hospital.Qualifications: State of Iowa Certified Paramedic Work experience: Preferred, not required. Education/Certifications/Licenses: -Current Iowa EMS certification -Current Chauffeur's license -Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification Essential Functions: -Respond on ambulance calls including prehospital EMS and interfacility medical transports -Provide clinical assistance within the facility when preparing for, responding to, or recovering from ambulance calls. The following is a partial list of areas: ER, MSP, Radiology, Lab, etc.

Typical work involves working pre-hospital in multiple settings, from mild to extreme conditions.
