Responsibilities: Updates and maintains job applications; communicates with hiring, training, administrative personnel, Human Resources, and applicants; assists with information requests; schedules or coordinates testing, interviews, and other appointments throughout the selection process; and serves as administrative and clerical support for all steps of the selection process of Boone County Joint Communications. Coordinates and/or assists with social media management, recruiting events, public relations, recruitment advertisements, and public education related to Boone County Joint Communications. Conducts applicant background investigations. Coordinates employee retention strategies.
Status: Full-time, non-exempt, benefited
Working hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; two years’ clerical experience; valid Missouri driver’s license with insurable driving record; typing speed 35 wpm. Must possess a clear criminal history and must meet minimum qualifications set forth by the FBI and MSHP CJIS Security policy.
Preferred Qualifications: Recruiting, human resources, public relations, and/or social media experience.
NOTE: A criminal background check including a national fingerprint check through law enforcement agencies and a drug test will be conducted on all successful applicants prior to their being appointed to this position.
Starting Hourly Salary Range: $16.75 - $20.94 per hour
