Responsibilities
- The Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership for the Facilities Management department and manages the day-to-day operations by maintaining and providing procedural support for operations at the County’s facilities, assessing the program’s efficiency, and providing recommendations for improvement. Essential functions include but are not limited to performing and overseeing skilled work in the following areas: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); carpentry, construction; and network cabling.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED, 10-plus years of maintenance and repair experience, and experience with fans, pumps, and equipment and controls associated with HVAC systems, fire sprinklers, refrigeration systems, and plumbing are required. Must have reliable transportation and a valid Missouri Driver’s License; must possess a clear criminal record (excluding minor traffic violations); Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds, stand extensively and bend/stoop frequently. Must meet minimum qualifications set forth by the FBI and MSHP CJIS Security policy.
Preferred Qualifications: HVAC certification is preferred.
Status: Full-time, non-exempt, benefited
Working hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
Starting Hourly Salary Range: $26.15 - $31.38 per hour
