OPEN POSITION: Principal – Boone Elementary School
START DATE: 2025/2026 School year
STARTING SALARY: $103,941
TERM: 240-day position annually, benefit eligible including paid vacation, sick, and personal days.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Principal provides instructional leadership including supporting the work of professional learning communities, supervising classroom instruction, curriculum implement and student assessment. Additionally, the Principal is responsible for building administration and cultivating a safe environment that supports inclusion, a student-centered climate and staff engagement among other duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree required, specialist or doctorate preferred
- Minimum of three years of successful experience as a classroom teacher
- Successful secondary leadership and supervision experience required
- Valid Missouri Principal Certification for Elementary Principal
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, extremely detailed and accurate
- Strong computer and interpersonal skills
