Overview
Job Summary:
Transports patients throughout the hospital for a variety of services, and assists with patient care duties as delegated by a registered nurse.
Job Responsibilities:
- Transports patients throughout the hospital, assists with in-coming helicopter transports, and transports deceased patients to the morgue.
- Responds to all code blue (cardiac or respiratory arrests) situations and initiates chest compressions. Responds to patient falls and other emergent situations.
- Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
- Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: None required.
- Supervisor Experience: None required.
- Licenses & Certification: None required.
