Job Details
Top Diagnosis / Procedures : MR / MRA Brain, Breast, Lumbar / Cervical / thoracic, Abdomen, MRCP, Pituitary, Int Aud Canal, Abd Pel Enterography, Extremities, Prostate
Common Medications used on the unit : Contrast (administered by techs), Conscious Sedation (administered by Rad RNs)
Common Equipment : GE Artist 1.5T and 3T
Key communication skills to communicate with patients, radiologists, and other care team members. Able to ease patients' stress and anxiety about exams. Experience with MRI and critical care patients. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and MRI safety. Must have experience managing and researching implanted devices. Understands concept of good body mechanics to help move and transfer patients. Able to solve problems and adapt to changing circumstances under pressure. Passionate and reliable.
