Description
Boone Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will perform a variety of housekeeping and janitorial duties to ensure our hospital meets the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean patient rooms, surgical areas, nursing units, administrative offices, and public spaces.

Launder hospital linens and maintain linen inventory in each department.

Use cleaning chemicals and disinfectants safely to ensure a sanitary environment.

Make beds, empty trash, and restock necessary supplies.

Collect and distribute linens and hospital gowns to patient areas.

Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting any necessary repairs.

Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
What You Need to Succeed:

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Previous housekeeping experience in a hospital or hotel setting (Preferred)

Valid West Virginia driver’s license
