We are currently seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Boone Memorial Hospital Inc. in Madison, WV.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill prescription orders with precision and speed.
- Keep patient medication records current and accurate.
- Procure necessary pharmaceuticals and supplies in a timely manner.
- Distribute materials to other departments as needed.
- Ensure a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
- Work collaboratively with staff to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Routinely inspect stock for expired or damaged items.
- Closely monitor floor stock levels.
- Swiftly collect and deliver orders.
- Thoroughly verify vendor orders.
- Accurately calculate dispensed doses and prepare billing documents.
- Participate in annual pharmacy stock inventories.
- Attend regular pharmacy staff meetings and educational sessions.
Salary Range: $56,000 - $76,000 per year
Qualifications:
- Educational background: Completion of a Technician Training Program as stipulated by the WV Board of Pharmacy/Legislature Rules 15 C.R.S. 7.
- Licenses and experience: Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of WV, as mandated.
