CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT OR MEDICAL ASSISTANT
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join BOONE FOOT AND ANKLE (aka BOONE PODIATRY). The ideal candidate will provide essential support in both clinical and administrative capacities. This role requires knowledge on medical terminology and insurance coverages as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
JOB TYPE: Part-time
Work Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school or GED required
Licensure/Certification: none
Experience: two years of clinical experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obtain and document patient history and findings on electronic health records
Assist podiatrist to perform treatments and procedures
Perform procedures as ordered by the podiatrist
Set up, clean, and disinfect patient rooms
Sterilize instruments
Inventory materials and supplies and replenish in each patient room
Establish a good rapport with patients, staff and podiatrist
Assist Clinic Manager with administrative duties
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have demonstrated computer literacy
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Position involves active work, including walking and/or standing for considerable lengths of time. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
