We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 2nd Grade Teacher for our Private Classical Christian school with a Charlotte Mason influence. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Classical Christian education principles.
- Incorporate Charlotte Mason teaching methods, including nature study, narration, and living books.
- Teach integrity, character, and Biblical principles, integrating scripture into daily lessons.
- Utilize outdoor spaces and hands-on activities to foster curiosity and wonder.
- Encourage strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills in a nurturing environment.
- Foster a structured, well-managed classroom where students feel safe, engaged, and eager to learn.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and parents to support each student’s growth and success.
- Jump in and support the team as needed to create a thriving educational community.
Qualifications:
- Teaching experience with young children and strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for Classical Christian education and familiarity with Charlotte Mason methods.
- Ability to integrate Biblical teachings and scripture into daily lessons.
- A heart for developing strong character and leadership in young students.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to the needs of the students and school.
