Boost Gymnastics Recreational Coach
An established multi-activity center located in the beautiful Belle Meade area of Nashville is seeking positive, self-motivated, and energetic individuals who have a passion for working with kids.
Now accepting applications for recreational gymnastics instructors. Must be able to lead and entertain groups of children through gymnastics and physical activities in a positive learning environment. Expected hours are 12-20 hours/week with positions open to fill immediately! The primary need for this role is days within the Monday-Friday range from 3:15pm-7:10pm, as well as Saturday mornings.
As a Gymnastics Coach, you will have the opportunity to inspire young athletes in their pursuit of excellence in the sport of gymnastics. You will play a vital role in helping them develop their skills, build confidence, and achieve their goals.
Former gymnasts, tumblers, and cheerleaders are encouraged to apply. A background in early childhood development and education a plus!

Responsibilities:
- Instruct students using known teaching methods and provided curriculum.
- Review lesson plans with Program Director and other appropriate individuals as may be needed for feedback.
- Conduct lessons according to schedule for the duration of the class; start and finish rotations and class on time.
- Actively instruct all participants for full duration of class from start time to end time.
- Provide ongoing safety instruction to participants according to risk management guidelines.
- Provide quality instruction according to lesson plan to meet goals engaging all students to have fun while learning.
- Promote students from one level to the next following procedures according to the evaluation cycle and at the direction of Program Director.
- Enforce safety protocol and maintain a safe environment at all times for all concerned.
- Immediately report injury and/or suspicious incidents to Program Director; complete and submit incident report.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and training clinics.
- Complete required courses and maintain current certifications required and relevant to job.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in coaching gymnastics at various skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to gymnastics training.
- USAG Certification a plus.
- Previous Personal Gymnastics Experience.
- Afternoon-evening weekday and Saturday Morning availability to accommodate class schedules.
- Previous gymnastics coaching experience.
- Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, skills, and teaching methods.
- Ability to work effectively with children and teenagers, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with gymnasts, parents, and fellow coaches.

Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
