Must have experience as a Litigation Paralegal. You will be a litigation only paralegal supporting two to four Attorneys as part of the firm's personal injury practice.
Job Duties:
- Interact with clients, adjusters, medical providers and opposing counsel and expert witnesses
- Manage deadlines and schedule meetings, depositions, arbitration, mediation, and the like
- Analyze medical records and bills
- Prepare mediation and settlement conference memorandum
- Ensure clients are informed and receive correspondence and pleadings timely
- Draft initial and supplemental disclosure statements as well as court pleadings
Experience and Education Required:
- Experience using case management software.
- Must possess strong organizational skills, work ethic and enjoy working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Research proficient, pre-trial prep, and trial assistance experience required.
- Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, disclosures, and discovery requests while under close supervision.
- Document production and organization a must. Organize records, documents, correspondence, and files into a manageable format.
- Follow the ethical requirements as set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct of the State.
- Must demonstrate a strong worth ethic and consistent schedule
- Experience with document management system required
- The ideal candidate will take the initiative, have strong attention to detail, highly organized & has impeccable communication skills.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
