Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor, ensuring all products are displayed attractively.
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the stockroom and sales areas.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Familiarity with operating a cash register is a plus.
- Must be Bilingual
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone when necessary.
