Who are we?
We're a fast growing startup that provides behavioral-based and gamified SMS marketing to restaurants to get 10x greater consumer engagement than traditional marketing. We serve thousands of restaurants and millions
of consumers throughout the US. Our founders have had successful exits, been through Y Combinator, and recently raised a Series A.
Not a remote position. This is an in-person role in our Lehi, Utah office.
What will you do?
- Develop and execute a people strategy aligned with business goals, fostering a scalable and inclusive culture.
- Oversee recruiting efforts to attract top-tier talent; develop and execute strategies for sourcing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee experience, satisfaction, and retention through programs that reflect our values.
- Build frameworks for career development, leadership training, and skills enhancement.
- Implement performance management processes to ensure alignment, feedback, and growth for every team member, including leadership team members.
- Partner with leadership to address organizational challenges and design scalable structures as the company grows.
- Manage compliance and adherence to labor laws and regulations.
- Manage payroll, onboarding, and additional systems as needed to help the company scale
What qualities are we looking for?
- You have 6 years in People/HR roles, with at least 2 years in leadership positions and at least 3 years as a recruiter for venture-backed tech startups
- Excellent recruiter for both technical and non-technical roles, ideally with a history of recruiting individuals that service an SMB customer base
- You have been a trusted advisor to company leadership, providing valuable counsel, guidance, and training to company leadership
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Curiosity, enthusiasm, optimism, willingness to fail, and a “get things done” attitude
- Proactive in taking ownership over projects and figuring things out. Be a doer.
