The DC Lead will help oversee the Distribution Center's weekly inbound and outbound processes. This position will also assist in ensuring products are delivered correctly in a timely manner while demonstrating excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring all weekly distribution orders are shipped to stores in a timely manner
- Continuously review operational processes to verify they are accurate and meet compliance standards along with making suggestions to improve the processes
- Assist in daily monitoring of productivity objectives to confirm they consistently meet Company and departmental standards
- Partner with the DC employees to correct mis-packs and mis-ships quickly and efficiently
- Ensure over picked product is accounted for at the end of each shift to verify the accuracy of the inventory levels and inform management of any discrepancies.
- Responsible for ensuring department is always clean, organized, and in line with all safety regulations
- Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
- Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance
- Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations
- Adheres to local, state and federal laws
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management
- Understands and complies with all company rules and regulations
