Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Farm Equipment/Heavy Equipment, mechanical knowledge, and experience in machinery/equipment repair/service. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of Farm Equipment/Heavy Equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with engine, hydraulics, electrical etc.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational functions.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Document all service calls, repairs made, and parts used in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to build and improve service processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all duties.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role within the machinery/heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of equipment.
- Familiarity with engines hydraulics, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
