Job Summary
Will assist the Office of Strategy, Learning, and Workforce Development (OSLWD) in the accomplishment of its mission by performing activities that support the evaluation, development, and implementation of the agency's national mentoring, career development, and professional development activities.
Position Requirements
- Provides and/or coordinates training, employee development, strategic workforce planning, and presentations in area of expertise
- Assists with preparing briefings, performs cost benefit analyses, prepares responses to taskers
- Compiles and analyzes metrics reports, survey feedback, and reporting trends
- Manage and monitor tracking reports.
- Prepares resources and correspondence: agendas, guidelines, memos, executive summaries, and other related materials
- Attends and participates in meetings and prepares reports
- Works with graphic experts to develop desk guides, PowerPoint, and Motion graphics
- Develops user guides, info-graphics, and supporting documents as well as write training materials
- Research available training and coordinate the training classes and activities
- Provides event planning logistics
- Assists with employee Mentoring and Mentee matching program
- Prepares budget estimates and respond to customer inquiries
- Assists with project plans and provides status reports
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or Accounting
- At least 7 years of experience in a business-related field
- Strong written skills (writing sample will be requested) and verbal skills; ability to work in a team and manage individual motivation
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; SharePoint experience
- Ability to analyze data
