Position Summary:
This is a large-scale program review project of Head Start, Early Head Start, and Child Care Partnership grants. The senior Project Manager is responsible for the project's day-to-day operations. They implement the strategic vision set by the Project Director and ensure that the project stays on track in terms of scope, timeline, and budget.
Position Requirements:
• Oversee the execution of the project according to the plan, making sure timelines and milestones are met.
• Lead a team of project managers and staff, ensuring clear communication and coordination among all team members.
• Monitor project performance, addressing issues such as proposed scope changes, delays, and resource shortages.
• Handle budget management and ensure financial resources are being used efficiently.
• Act as a key point of contact for the client’s project representatives
Position Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in related fields.
• At least 5-7 years of experience and is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of the project while still being highly involved in leadership and decision-making.
• Experience with government grants and program reviews.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated team leadership skills.
• Project management expertise via experience and/or certifications.
• Proficient with budgets and financial management.
• Risk management and detail-oriented.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
