As part of our skilled team of AAC Specialists, you'll conduct AAC evaluations, complete essential funding packets for insurance, and engage in vital consultations with students and school teams. To thrive as an AAC Specialist at Boothby Therapy Services (BTS), candidates must possess a Master's degree in speech-language pathology and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. A wealth of experience in conducting AAC evaluations across various systems, including alternative access methods, is essential. Success in this role also demands proficiency in implementing AAC strategies in diverse settings, ensuring effective communication for children.
Additionally, candidates should be skilled in completing comprehensive reports for funding and training adults as communication partners. Finally, applicants must either hold or be prepared to acquire an SLP license for the state of NH.
