Boothe's Heating, Air, Plumbing and Electric is currently seeking an Account Payable Specialist to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our water treatment specialists process all invoices received for payment and undertaking payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Responsibilities
What Will I Do?
- Create and review purchase orders
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy
- Charge expenses to accounts and departments after analyzing vendor invoices
- Vendor invoice entry and heavy data entry
- Review and process credit memos
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and to invoices
- Assist controller with check runs
- Preparer and mail vendor checks
- Contact vendors for additional information and to resolve discrepancies
- Assist with streamlining the accounts payable processes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Do I Have What It Takes?
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of previous AP experience with basic accounting principles knowledge
- Must be able to work effectively and with a positive attitude in a high paced environment
- Must be able to communicate clearly with vendors/employees and have an outgoing phone personality
- Must have a clean criminal background and drug screen.
