As a data architect, you know how to apply your creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We're looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for the U.S. Navy's maritime autonomy provider.

As a Data Architect on our Navy and Marine Corps team, you'll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for generating, testing, and delivering autonomy software solutions from a development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) managed services environment to the tactical edge.

You'll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by working with government and industry stakeholders to make recommendations for future architecture approaches. In this role, you'll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices and use tools like Gitlab, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to design DevSecOps architectures, streamline business processes, and develop reports for senior leadership. You'll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and effective solutions are delivered. With your drive to establish processes and lead technological innovation, you'll make a lasting impact on how the U.S. Navy delivers autonomous capabilities to the Fleet.

You Have:

• 5 years of experience as a Program Management with data architecture, data solutions, systems engineering, or software development

• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools, including GitLab CI/CD, Jira, Jenkins, and Confluence

• Experience building and automating workflows within web-based environments

• Experience with supervising others and leading projects and deliverables within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with DevOps tooling, pipelines, and building containerized applications to run in a Kubernetes environment

• Experience with a public cloud including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud

• Experience with designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex data applications at enterprise scale

• Experience creating software for retrieving, parsing and processing structured and unstructured data

• Experience with programming languages, including Python or R

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
