Key Role
Monitors network administration and maintenance operations, manages the design evolution of existing operational networks, and resolves network incidents to ensure the smooth running of the network operation. Applies specific functional knowledge and working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, and reviews or guides activities of junior employees. Analyzes, tests, troubleshoots, and evaluates existing network systems such as LAN, WAN, cloud networks, servers, and other data communications networks. Performs network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with the monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and change management of computer data networks
- Knowledge of network design principles, routing and switching protocols, and network monitoring and management systems
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead small teams
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
- DOD 814 IAT Level 2 cybersecurity certification
- Knowledge of mobile ad hoc networking products from applicable vendors including Persistent Systems, Trellisware, or Silvus
