Key Role
Develop solution architecture (SA) and resolve complex issues in a variety of projects through the implementation of requirements analysis, expertise support, and project supervision. Research, design, develop, and test computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements. Create, modify, or maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Plan and implement software security measures. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications
- Experience using the Microsoft Office tool suite
- Knowledge of basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or development stacks
- Knowledge of creating and testing modules and components for compliance with design specifications
- Knowledge of developing and testing interfaces between software products and products of other vendors
- Knowledge of workflows, web parts, site maintenance, and APIs
- Ability to create solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Software Development, or CS
- DoD 8570 IASAE Level 1 compliant baseline Cybersecurity Certification
