Bioinformatics Project Manager

Key Role:

Conduct and apply bioinformatics expertise to science and technology client challenges. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with project management within the science realm

• Experience with Next Generation Sequencing data generation, processing and analysis

• Experience with Jira and Confluence

• Ability to lead small teams of 3-5 staff to complete deliverables

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience working in a scientific role, or Master's degree and 3 years of experience working in a scientific role

Additional Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

• Scrum or Agile certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
