Computer Network Architect, Mid

Key Role:

Apply skills in advanced network technologies to help support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. Design and implement computer and information networks such as LAN, WAN, intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. Perform network emulation and virtualization analysis, planning, and modeling, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures. Design network and computer security measures. Install and upgrade systems software and maintain software configuration management. Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite

• Knowledge of computer network principles, routing and switching protocols, and network management software tools

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science

• DoD 8140 IAT Level 1 compliant baseline cybersecurity certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
