Data Analytics Manager

Key Role:

Assist in the analysis and maintenance of plans, policies, and processes for data management, data governance, security, quality, accessibility, use, and disposal. Drive initiatives related to Army Digital Transformation, Data Modernization, Analytics, including using AI and ML, and Program Oversight by capturing client requirements, designing and implementing robust solutions, and crafting strategies, white papers, and proposals to help clients drive their Army Data Management and Analytics efforts. Capture and document business requirements, formulate data collection plans, implement normalization processes, identify key performance metrics, develop queries to extract accurate and timely business information from existing data environments, and generate data visualizations to highlight patterns or trends in complex datasets. Provide strategic support to ensure that our solutions adhere to best practices and effectively address client needs related to data, analytics, and oversight for program success. Display a solid understanding of data platforms and enterprise analytics, to spearhead comprehensive data integration and optimization to transform the Army into a data centric organization. Apply your strategic understanding and experience of Army domains, including business, warfighting and enterprise, Army stakeholders, and Army initiatives to spearhead new and modernized Army data solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in data strategy, including enterprise solutions for data management, governance, analytics and developing AI and ML models

  • 7 years of experience in engaging with clients to comprehend their business requirements, technical needs, and preferred program and project management

  • 5 years of experience in pre-sales with capture management and proposal writing and bid response

  • Experience in leadership with process improvement methods and high-performance team coaching

  • Knowledge of data platforms, data governance, data management, analytics, and AI

  • Ability to design data solutions using a variety of cloud and hybrid technology to meet client requirements, deliver innovation and technical modernization, and reduce technical debt

  • Ability to envision and lead teams to prototype and demonstrate the feasibility and value of proposed solutions

  • Ability to lead development teams with agile methodologies and manage time and resource constraints

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in a Data, Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, Technology, or Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with federal government regulations, compliance, and system authorization

  • Experience with Army client relationships, coordinating with market leaders to connect firm capabilities, and helping build business and solutions based on Army’s strategic initiatives

  • Knowledge of Army Data programs and capabilities

  • Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, resulting in clarity of vision

  • Ability to mentor team members on delivery teams about best practices in data architecture and governance

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Possession of excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical skills

  • Master's degree

  • PMP Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
