This role is more than just coding. As a lead full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll oversee a team as they learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
10 years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing full-stack software solutions
10 years of software development experience with programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, or Python
Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
Experience with writing clean, efficient source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code for existing applications
Experience with integrating APIs and middleware for seamless communication between back-end and front-end systems
Experience with database management systems using SQL or NoSQL databases
Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation
Ability to develop user interfaces using Javascript frameworks and server-side components using NodeJS or Java frameworks, including Spring Boot
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience in working with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
Experience with containerization tools, including Docker or Kubernetes
Experience with automated testing tools for unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for full-stack application deployment
Experience with mentoring or supervising employees within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
