What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Facility Security Director position at Booz Allen?
Key Role:
Be responsible for Facility Security and Force Protection, ensuring effective and efficient physical security strategy in multiple geographies across the U.S. and overseas. Assist senior leaders across the company to make critical decisions associated with the protection of our most valuable resources. Act as the most senior subject matter expert on physical security for internal and external business partners and security vendors to develop a high performing team. Ensure facility security measures are appropriately hardened to protect against threats. Oversee a security center which monitors and responds to security events. Oversee contracted uniformed officers or force protection for approximately 100 firm locations, including cleared facilities. Continuously assess and enhance facility and physical security integrity across the company and implement processes that enable the rapid identification and mitigation of physical security risks and response. Balance mission needs with effective, optimized programs and resources and manage budget execution.
Basic Qualifications:
10 years of experience in security in public or private sectors, including leadership
Experience in a leadership role, including leading facility or physical security programs at a corporate level
Experience with local and Federal Law Enforcement on a variety of situations, including violent or non-violent crimes, public safety, facility and utility failures, fire and intrusion alarms, and traffic matters
Ability to provide technical expertise in Security Operations Centers with centralized alarm and camera monitoring that protect assets across a global organization and PSIM integration
Ability to successfully lead organizational change to security operations and be recognized as a thought leader in security policy and operations
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of Intelligence Community and DoD security policies and requirements related to facility security
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent managerial and strategic planning skills, including high degrees of business acumen
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
