IT Service Desk Technician, Junior

Key Role:

Provides in-depth support and leads problem solving and implementation efforts for specific technology products or applications. Applies basic principles, theories, and concepts, limited industry knowledge. Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Works under direct supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with IT Systems and Applications

• Knowledge of O365 and Microsoft Products

• Ability to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve end-user issues, including software applications, laptops, and peripheral devices

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with the DoD or Navy Staff

• Ability to assist in the creation of end-user guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving client environment

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $42,600.00 to $87,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
