Network Engineer A well-designed network is critical to move data, connect command and control systems, and enable networks to achieve their mission requirements, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Thats why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to design and deploy network infrastructure that can support dynamic tasking and meet varied requirements. As a network engineer on our team, youll use your experience in network design and architecture to support the clients multiple persistent and episodic networks that support Joint, Service, and Coalition experiments, demonstrations, and test and evaluation event. Youll design, configure, upgrade, maintain network specific infrastructure, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues, analyze current working infrastructures, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. Your knowledge of DoD Enterprise Network Design and Architecture will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in software and hardware firewalls, Cisco hardware, firewalls, cloud migration, optical infrastructure networking, virtual routing and forwarding, youll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. 5 years of experience as a network engineering lead, or architect for Enterprise DoD Networks 3 years of experience as a senior network engineer supporting DoD networks providing engineering support Experience with virtualization with networking and systems Experience in Cisco network technologies, including routers, switches, and Next Generation Firewalls Ability to design and implement scalable and resilient network infrastructures Secret clearance Security or Cisco CCNA Certification Experience with Access Control systems, including Cisco ISE and Network Access Control (NAC), including network management and monitoring tools, such as Splunk, and Cisco Catalyst Center Knowledge of Zero Trust concepts and Cloud operations, including Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP / IP, BGP, and OSPF Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science Secret clearance is required.
