The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced Public Health Program Evaluation Specialist, who will design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of program evaluation and data analytical activities that support a national healthcare quality improvement program.
As a Program Evaluation Specialist on our team, you will take lead on the evaluation study design, development of data collection instruments, protocols, and tools, primary data collection from stakeholders, analyze data and prepare presentation materials, policy briefs, email communications, and short articles in direct support of senior program leadership members. You'll work with a group data scientists, statisticians, public health specialists, and qualitative analysts to conduct program monitoring and impact evaluation. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will be critical to the client who looks for timely feedback on the program implementation and actionable recommendations on improving program impact and cost savings.
On our team, you’ll use your leadership skills and data science expertise to create real-world impact. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You’ll guide and mentor your team as you oversee the development of evaluation plans and strategies. You’ll use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to advise your clients as they make informed decisions. As an evaluation specialist, you’ll identify new opportunities to use data science solutions to help your clients meet their toughest challenges. Ultimately, you’ll provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used.

You Have:
- 6 years of experience in healthcare program evaluation
- Experience in social science research study design, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and technical writing
- Experience working directly with senior leaders and communicating with client leadership
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and be deadline-driven to organize and coordinate multiple tasks
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a social science or research field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
